2016 will be the year to remember as the host of the inaugural Pedal, Paddle, and Play in Downtown Fort Wayne! The goal of the event is to introduce the community to the amazing outdoor recreation available on our waterways and greenways, strengthen our regional community through trails, and raise funds for the Northeast Indiana Water Trails.

This all ages community event is free to the public and includes:

• Live music from local bands
  
• Demonstrations from Fort Wayne Fire and Police Departments
  
• Exhibits from regional community and environment organizations
  
• Zip line and Walking water balls (small fee)
  
• A Pedal (bike) and Paddle (boat) to various locations to learn about water ecology, kayak fishing, Fort Wayne trails, Riverfront development, Fort Wayne filtration plant, water recreation safety and more (registration required).

Registration is necessary for the Pedal and Paddle which will entitle you to an event t-shirt, dry bag, and up to six (6) entries into prize drawings including a $1200 kayak package donated by the Wells Street Corridor.

The Pedal and Paddle starts at 12-noon, though pick your registration packet up early so you can choose your starting point from the map of the Passport stations that will be provided in your packet.
