Please study this map, especially if you are new to the race or area:
*The outside of the Fairgrounds traffic flow is one way and flows counter-clockwise.
*Letters N and R is the Grandstand. This is where the race will start and finish.
*Letter B is the Commodities Pavilion. It is adjacent to the Grandstand. This is where the pre- and post-race area is located and where you can sign up for late paper registration. It is adjacent to the start/finish line.
*Gate 8 is on the west end of the Fairgrounds. The IL State Fair strongly encourages you to enter at Gate 8 and park in Lot 1. *On the map, there are two Lot 1's. Park in the larger section of Lot 1.
***As an Abe's Amble participant you will NOT have to pay an entrance fee or parking fee IF YOU ENTER THROUGH GATE 8.***

Start and Finish next to the Grandstand at the Illinois State Fair, Springfield, IL.
Everyone must enter the Fairgrounds through Gate 8, off 5th Street, on the west side of the grounds.

Race day registration:
$40 race day registration will be available on 8/21/16 from 6:15 - 7:00 AM.
All participants are responsible for packet pick up at the designated times.

T-Shirts |
Dri-fit Moisture-wicking t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 800 registrants!
Shirts are gender specific.
Women's shirts are fitted and may fit smaller than your normal size.
Important Note:
If you wish to not have a women's fitted shirt please select the appropriate male shirt size you will need.
