The Have a Heart 5k is a run in honor of Ashley Gonyo, a student at Sacred Heart School in West Des Moines. Ashley was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) on February 20th, 2013 and has successfully completed her cancer treatments. Ashley is living cancer free and a true inspiration to all of us. Please join us on July 24th, 2016 for the 4th Annual Have a Heart 5k. Money raised from the event will be donated to local charities that support families affected by childhood cancer, including Blank Children's Hospital and the Cancer Connection.

Race day registration:
$30 for 18 and older and $20 for 17 and under.

Packet Pick Up will be at Fleet Feet Sports (521 East Locust Street, Des Moines, IA 50309) on Saturday, July 23rd from 2:00 to 5:00 PMRace Day Registration and Packet Pick Up is available from 7:00 AM to 7:45 at the race site

FREE KIDS fun run to begin at 9:00 (5 and below = 1/4 of a mile; 6 to 9 = 1/2 of a mile and 10+ run a mile)

Register on race day. $5.00 t-shirts are available on race day.
