The Vista Run features a fun 5K foothills race located in the southwest Denver Metro area. The 5K run is the perfect mix of road and trail and is on Fehringer Ranch Park which covers a scenic course over beautiful and fascinating terrain. The Fun Run, for 6 years old and under, is only a half of a mile and is located by the school on safe roads. Friends or family members are welcome to run with the little ones in the Fun Run at no cost. After the run join us for the Fall Festival from 9am to 2pm! We will celebrate on our school campus as runners complete the Vista Run. The Fall Festival is free and open to all. Enjoy fabulous food, games, inflatable bouncers, face painting, crafts for children, various vendors, and many more! This event is organized and run by the Board of Directors, Parents, and Community members. Support the unique school community by purchasing tickets to play games, get on fun bouncers, and satisfy your tummies. All proceeds from this race go right back into our school budget to support the RMDS students.

Rocky Mountain Deaf School. See Course Map for where to park. West Nassau Drive will be closed after 8 AM for the race from South Kipling to RMDS parking lot. When this section is closed, please drive to West Quincy and go west from South Kipling to South Nelson Street. Go north on Nelson and turn right/east onto West Nassau Ave. Drive east to the D'Evelyn parking lot across from RMDS. The first parking lot entrance will be open. Parking lot attendants will guide you to the parking area.

East D'Eveyln parking lot on West Nassau Ave. across from RMDS. This can be accessed from either Kipling (before 8 AM or after 11 AM) or from Quincy at any time of the day.

Part of the race course will be on paved road which leads to Fehringer Ranch Park with dirt trails. The road and trails in the park are wide and hilly with beautiful views.

Top male and female overall.
1st place and 2nd place M/F in each age group will receive a prize. Fun Run race - 6 years old and under will get a small token for participating.

Ages Groups for 5K run: 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-35, 36-49, 50-59, and 60+

Awards will be given out at around 10:45 AM.

Adults (18 & Over): $30
RMDS Staff and *7 to 17yrs old*: $20
6 & Under: Free *(no race shirt)*

Registered 5K runners will get a t-shirt with their bib however there is no guarantee to get a shirt after September 15, 2016 (11:59 PM) due to ordering period so PLEASE register early!
