This is a 6K race (anyone can do a 5K) to kick off the long awaited return of summer.

The course is a mixture of streets and trails. It is flatter than Kansas (total elevation change is 10 feet). There will be one water stop along the route.

There will be overall male and female 1st - 3rd and male and female age group 1st- 3rd prizes awarded.

Only $25 for the pleasure of gasping for oxygen for almost four miles if you register before the shirt deadline (May 9th). If you don't want the race shirt, you can indicate on your registration that you would like that money to be donated to the Iowa City Animal Shelter. After May 9th, the fee is $30 up to the day of the race when registration fees increase to $40.

Running Wild in Coralville on Sunday, May 29th from noon to 5 pm or you may pick up your packet the morning of the race from 6 am to 7:30.

For all you fair weather runners, we will indeed wait for you to look out the window and decide that we are having Goldilocks weather. Day of registration will be at the main tent from 6 am to 7:30. There is no shirt guarantee for day of race registrants.

You've got a watch, you time it. No, just kidding, this race will be chip timed. Your chip is not disposable. Please return it at the end of the race. If your chip is somehow abducted by aliens, you will be charged a replacement fee of $35.

Hang around after you cruise past the finish line for post-race refreshments and door prizes.
