Course Information and updates |
Our course will not be certified because it is a trail run without paved roads.
We will not allow strollers or dogs (or other leashed animal friends) on the trails during the 5k or 10k race. Thank you for helping to keep our runners safe!
Part of the course may be muddy due to the weather. We will update the ground conditions the week of the race so you can be prepared.

Who are the Friends of Sangamon Valley? |
We are a small non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of our natural heritage by acquiring, restoring and protecting ecologically significant lands in the Sangamon River Watershed focused in Sangamon, Menard, Cass & Mason counties.
With a membership base of 300 people, and 2000 acres of land in our care, we are making a positive impact on long term preservation of the beautiful natural lands of central Illinois.
We welcome you to contact us about ways you can get involved! With river clean up days, special event concerts and controlled prairie grass burns we have plenty of volunteer roles to fit your interests.
