Join us for the Clive Running Festival on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Please consider coming out and participating with your family on this scenic race on the beautiful Clive Greenbelt Trail. New this year is the entire 5K and 10K race will run on the Greenbelt. With a 5K,10K, mile run and the tadpole trot there is an event for all members of the family. This popular trail is used year round by runners, walkers and bicyclists. Proceeds from the race are used for trail improvements such as the new drinking fountains which were installed from past races and annual maintenance on the trail. Your participation in the Clive Running Festival directly benefits all who love and enjoy the use of this wonderful trail.

The new 2016 scenic course will be run on the Clive Greenbelt trail. It will start and finish at Clive Aquatics Center. The 1 mile race will also be partially run on the trail as well. Kids tadpole races will be in front of the Clive Pool.

Course:

Starts and finishes at Clive Aquatics Center. Scenic course with several rolling hills, through Clive neighborhoods and the Clive Greenbelt trail. Come and see the new bridges on the trail.

This is straight South of the entrance to Living History Farms.

Times:
8:00 AM - 5K & 10K
9:15 AM 1 Mile (ages 9-17)
9:30 AM Tadpole Trot (ages 1-8)

Friday June 10th from 4:00-6:30 PM
Saturday AM beginning at 6:30-7:30 AM

T-shirt:
All paying participants receive an official Clive Running Festival t-shirt.

All Tadpole Trot participants will receive award ribbons.

• Walkers and wheelchair participants are welcome to compete in any event. Please, no dogs or other pets in this race.
  
• Clive Running Festival is a non-profit event.
  
• Revenue exceeding expenses is used to benefit the community through the Clive Parks and Recreation Department.
  
• Past revenues have been used for water fountains and winter snow removal equipment for the Greenbelt Trail
  
• Entrants can use their race number for swimming on race day at the Clive Aquatic Center, at no additional cost
  
• Clive Running Festival is proud to be a supporting participant for the Senior Olympics
