What Are Biomedical Interventions for Autism?

"Biomed" is a term used to describe the treatment of autism from a medical viewpoint. Biomed utilizes standard medical tests to detect such things as: excessive amounts of bad bacteria in the gut, parasites, yeast, viruses, food allergies and heavy metal toxicity. These tests point out immune system dysfunction, metabolism abnormalities and underlying biochemical imbalances which are the cause of these medical problems and lead to autistic symptoms. These imbalances can be corrected with supplements, pharmaceuticals, all-natural remedies, homeopathy, chelation, HBOT and special diets, just to name some of the main treatment options available. Many parents have reported as their children's health has improved, so has focus, attention, and mood, resulting in much quicker progress with traditional therapies. Who can run these tests? There are licensed physicians and other health professionals who have been trained in the MAPS (Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs).
