When:
Saturday, August 1. Start of first heat at 8:00am, rolling schedule after the first gun goes off.
Where:
On-site packet pickup and Registration will take place in the MPIF at Westfield High School, enter through door 13. The race will take place on Union St., Westfield, IN. Race to begin at the high school and travel South for 1 mile along Union St to Finish adjacent to Asa Bales Park entrance. This is a straight, point-to-point course with a slight decline over the last ½ mile. The course is not eligible for national records but should produce some fast times.

$12 fee online through through July 28. $20 day of the race. On site registration closes 30 minutes prior to the first heat

Event Description |
All comers are welcome to participate in the inaugural Westfield Green Wave One Mile Road Race hosted by WYSI Cross Country.
Awards based on USATF age group classifications: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, Open, and Masters.
We will run six heats, see order of events listed above. Participants will provide an estimated finish time when registering. The first 5 heats will have a 12 minute time limit. The final heat will be for Men's Open and Masters divisions and anyone expecting to finish in a time of 12:01 or more. Streets will be reopened at 9:30. Any athletes on the course after 9:30 will need to move to the sidewalk.

Results: Race Results will be posted at www.onlineraceresults.com as soon as possible.

Awards |
- Medals to top three male and female finishers in each age group.
- Top Miler award for top male and female finisher for each WWS school.
- "Westfield's Fastest" trophy for fastest male and female finisher registered as a City Employee (Police, Fire, Schools, etc…).
- Trophy for fastest male and female finisher not from Westfield.
[*]Awards will be presented to winners at 10:00a.m. at the shelter south of the skate park in Asa Bales Park. Awards must be picked up at the event.
