About the Race |
The Have a Heart 5k is a run in honor of Ashley Gonyo, a student at Sacred Heart School in West Des Moines. Ashley was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) on February 20th, 2013 and will complete treatment on April 26, 2015. Please join us on July 26th, 2015 for the 3rd Annual Have a Heart 5k. Money raised from the event will be donated to local charities that support families affected by childhood cancer.
Start time is set for 8:00 AM on Sunday, July 26th.
All 5K participants will receive a t-shirt. Sizes - Youth S, M, L or Adult (uni-sex) XS, S, M, L, XL
A FREE Children's FUN RUN for 12 and under will be held after the 5K (approx. 9:00 AM) - T-Shirts will be available for purchase on race day for $5.00
