About the Event |
Breathe in the fresh air and watch the river splash its way down the banks of the Mississippi; each ripple representing a family that has been affected by sexual assault, child abuse, or domestic violence. Families and people hide abuse just like the muddy waters we watch, live near, and sing about. As you participate in this run, please remember those families and people who have been brave enough to step forward and speak about the violence and let us pray for those families, people and children who are experiencing this trauma presently. Thank you for supporting this prevention effort.
