IVS Membership |
The 2008-2009 membership year is from April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009.
As an IVS member you will receive our monthly newsletter, an ongoing 10% discount at Running Central, and race entry fee discounts.
IVS members are also eligible for the Grand Prix Series and Competitive Series (race circuit programs that award participation in specific races throughout the year).

About the Illinois Valley Striders |
Since it's founding in 1973, the Illinois Valley Striders has grown to become one of the premiere membership groups in downstate Illinois. With over 700 members, IVS hosts more than one hundred events in and around the Peoria area, and is known nationwide for the Steamboat Classic Race.
Illinois Valley Striders pride themselves on community involvement through participation in many area wide causes. The Striders are the administrators of Peoria's Race for the Cure and provide finish line, course control and results for the Illinois State Cross Country Championship.
Along with these two very large events, IVS provides race results, finish line volunteers and services to local road races around the area. The Striders also sponsor training runs and group runs throughout the year for further development of the Central Illinois running community.
