Shamrock Run and Walk

The Shamrock Run and Walk is open to people of all ages and abilities. Come join the fun with thousands of others by participating in either the 5-Mile Run or the 5K Walk in downtown Indianapolis. Proceeds will go to the Indy Sports Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization with a mission of promoting amateur sports and lending assistance to persons and organizations engaged in such activities. (Starting line located on New York Street by the IUPUI Natatorium)

* Top three overall male and female finishers in the Run and Walk

* Festive prizes will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age division for the Run and Walk. The age divisions are 11 and under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and up.

* Best Overall Male and Female Irish race costumes

* All participants must sign a waiver of liability

* No animals allowed on race course

* Strollers accepted

* T-shirts and numbers must be picked up during the times for packet pick-up and registration - none will be mailed

* We reserve the right to delay, reschedule or cancel the race due to extreme or severe weather conditions. NO REFUNDS

* If you do not indicate a shirt size, you will be given an XL. No exchanges.

Race Day - Parking will be available during race day on March 17th for $3.00 at the Barnhill Parking Garage across from the IUPUI Track and Soccer Stadium. Coming into the downtown take West Street (North or South) to Michigan Street. Go West on Michigan Street to Barnhill (on the left past University Street). Take a left at Barnhill to the parking garage.

Parking for Early Packet Pick-up on March 16th will be available in the Sports Complex Garage next to the Natatorium from 11am-2pm. Take Michigan Street West to University Blvd. Take a left on University Blvd. eventually crossing New York Street and the Natatorium. The garage is a 1/4 mile past the Natatorium.You will have a 30 min grace period to park and pick-up your packet without being charged.

Be a volunteer for the Shamrock Run and Walk, Irish Citizen of the Year Luncheon or St. Patrick's Day Parade. All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt. Call 317-884- EVENTS (3836) for more information.

11:30am - 1:30pm - St. Patrick's Day Parade
