This year's Iron Eagle Paddle and Run will take place on July 26th 2014. This fun focused event is motivated by desire to raise funds for the betterment of Eagle Creek Park. The event is open to all ages. Single, team, and family participation is welcome. Please join us for a tour of the grounds and catch a glimpse of some of the scenery Eagle Creek Park as to offer. Athletes of all ages can venture through the park by land and water alternating between trail runs and canoe or kayak legs. Competitors have the option to bring their own kayak or canoe, or rent their boat through Wheel Fun Rentals. All participants bringing their own water craft are required to bring a PFD (personal flotation device), also known as a life jacket.

Distances:
Trail Run - 2.5mi
Paddle - 1.5mi
Trail Run - 3.5mi

The race is setup similar to a triathlon with a transition area where you can stage your gear for each leg.

7:00am - Gates Open for Boat Drop Off
8:00 - 8:45am - Registration & Packet Pickup - RACE DAY REGISTRATION MUST HAVE THEIR OWN BOAT (with PFD and paddles).
9:00am - Start Time

Fee is $50 per person up to May 31st at Midnight
Fee is $60 per person June 1 thru July 14th at Midnight
Fee is $70 per person July 15th thru race day
Boat Rental (includes boat, paddles and PFD)

Race day registration must have their own boat

Registration includes an athletic performance shirt for all participants registered before June 20th. Shirts will be available on race day based upon availability.
