Junior League of North Little Rock's Literacy Initiative will support the Arkansas Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, with a priority of providing innovative approaches to literacy. These approaches include book distribution, childhood literacy activities, and family literacy/enrichment activities.

The project focuses on children ages 0-5, with the goal of improving language and literacy development, particularly those children and families participating in the Arkansas Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance program in the North Little Rock area.

All proceeds will benefit the Junior League of North Little Rock's Early Childhood Literacy Initiative, and support the Arkansas Campaign for Grade-Level Reading.

The funds will be used to incorporate a mobile component, in which the JLNLR "Literacy Mobile" will visit targeted high need areas to deliver books, and offer technologically based literacy activities and support to children and families.

Race packet pickup will be at the Manees House 216 West 4th Street North Little Rock in the Argenta district on May 29, from 4-8pm. You may also pick up your race packet at the race beginning at 7am.

We will be accepting race registrations at the race beginning at 7am.
