Water will be provided at approximately 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mile marks (for the 1/2). Refreshments will be provided at the finish.

No switching races after the gun goes off. You may switch from the half marathon to the 5K prior to the race by notifying officials. To switch from 5K to half marathon, you must pay entry fee difference at registration or be excluded from results and awards.

5K Awards:
An award will be given to the overall male and female for the 5-K. Awards can be picked up in front of the Rec Center starting at 8:15 am.

Awards also will be given to both men and women in the 5K for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers in the following age categories: No double winners!
13 & under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 -64, 65-70, 70+

1/2 Marathon Awards
An award will be given to the overall male and female for the 1/2 Marathon. Awards ceremony will start around 10:00 am.

Awards also will be given to both men and women in the 1/2 Marathon for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers in the following age categories: No double winners!
13 & under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 -64, 65-70, 70+

Awards will not be mailed.

* All Sturgis Falls half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal
* Quality performance shirt. Larger sizes available for an additional $3 by June 16th.
* Post-race food and refreshments
* Showers available in the Rec. Center
* Shirt sizes after June 16 can not be guaranteed
* Awards will not be mailed
* Entrants in the 5k will receive a performance t-shirt

CRRC splits proceeds from the 2013 Sturgis Falls Race and funds from the
club account:

€* $500 to the Cystic Fibrosis Association in honor of Berne and Maren
Denison.

€* $350 to The Hartman Reserve Nature area to repair of the many steps throughout the reserve.

€* $500 to the Cedar Falls Police Department to purchase new First Aid kits for all the police cars and for disposable CPR masks that all Cedar Falls Police Officers carry at all times.

€* $500 to The Cedar Trails Partnership for repair and construction of newtrails

€* $800 to The Hilltoppers Summer Training Program for area Junior High and High School Track and Cross Country athletes.

€* $500 to The Grant Wheeler Foundation to fund a scholarship, each year six scholarships are awarded to area High School Track and Cross Country athletes in honor of Grant Wheeler a marathon runner who was
tragically killed in a traffic accident almost 12 years ago.

€* $150 to Dike/New Hartford elementary annual cross country race.
