What time does the event start?
Gates open at 9:30am
Heats run every hour until 2:00pm (not 4) last heat is 2:00pm
The 2:00pm heat is pet friendly (Run a Muck with your Mutt)

We recommend all participants arrive at least 1 hour prior to their selected heat time. This gives you enough time to register and get your stuff put away and check your bag.

What should I bring on race day?
Comfortable shoes, full change of clothes from head to toe and everything in between, a towel, a trash bag or gear bag for all those mucky belongings, some spare pocket cash for food and refreshments, and your ID, especially if you want to visit the Beer Garden.

Will there be a check in for my belongings?
There will be a FREE gear check in for your belongings while you run. Run a Muck is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.



Is there an age limit to run the Run a Muck?
All race participants must be 10 years of age or older

Are there bathrooms on site?
Portable restrooms are located throughout the park and the course for your convenience.

Will I be able to shower?
What's wrong, you don't want to rock your muck throughout the day? If you can't stand to be dirty all too long, there will be rinse off stations you can use. This is by no means a shower, but it will help knock the chunks of muck off you. Please don't expect to sparkle.

Will food and drinks be provided?
Outside food and drinks are prohibited. One beverage coupon will be provided to all runners. There will be food vendors on site for any additional needs and for the crew of people you bring to cheer you on. Prices vary depending on vendor. There will be a beer garden on site with entertainment, Life size Beer Pong and other fun things to do, so bring your photo ID and your party pants! Due to Washington State Liquor Law, all people who want to enter the beer garden MUST show ID.



What if I forgot to bring cash?
No worries, there's a portable ATM machine at the event as well as vendors accept Visa, MC and AMEX

What if I just want to watch the Race?
Spectators have free admission and are encouraged to come cheer you on, enjoy watching you make a mess of yourself, or simply want to partake in the fun, without getting dirty! .

However, for safety precautions, only registered participants, event staff and approved persons will be allowed on the race course.

What is the refund policy?
Sorry no refunds will be issued. This event happens rain or shine!

Is there onsite parking?
Yes, FREE onsite parking is provided.

Are there group rates?
Of course there are, Muckers love to get muddy with their friends. Group rates apply if 5 or more people sign up on a team. If you have a group of 10 or more, use the "Contact the Organizers" Melody for a discounted price per runner.



Does bad weather impact the race?
It only makes it even muckier, which makes it more fun! Who doesn't want to be a dirty mess at the end of this 5K? In the Pacific Northwest you never know what you will get, but we know one thing… Rain or shine, we will be there!



What is Run A Muck with your Mutt?
This is for our furry friends who want to get mucked up with their humans. There are special waivers that need to be filled out, but all Mutts are free and get their own medal at the end of the course.

Can any size Mutt participate?
You know your Mutt better than we do, so if you think they can do the 5K, bring them on down! All Mutts must be current on their shots and be able to play well with others.
