Join family and friends for a 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Step Forward, Erlanger program to make the City a more walkable community and to connect people through physical activity. See the newly installed sidewalks that connect the City and the new Library and get started on a new program for physical fitness for the whole family.
Course: Scenic 5K (3.1 Mile) course begins and ends at the new Erlanger Branch of the Kenton County Library and winds through streets of historic residential homes and the Erlanger Historical Railroad Depot. Route is flat to rolling.
Run Divisions: 12/under, 13-18,19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49,50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70/over.
Walk Divisions: 19/under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60/over.
Awards: Overall Male and Female Runners and Walkers. Age group awards for each division.
Post-Race: Door Prizes, Kids Fun Run, Awards Ceremony, Food and Refreshment.
Free Kids Run: After the 5K. Special awards to all participants.
Door Prizes: One Free Family Membership to Silverlake Athletic Club, $50, 25, and $25 Cash, Four $25 Savings Bonds plus other door prizes will be given away at random.
Pre-Registration: $10 per person without T-shirt or $15 with T-shirt. Postmark mailed entries by August 22nd, 2011.
Online Registration: $10 per person without T-shirt or $15 with T-shirt. Available through Thursday, August 25th, 2011.
Race Day/Late Registration: $15 per person without T-shirt or $20 with T-shirt (while supplies last).
Race-day Registration/Number Pick up: 6:30 am to 7:45 am at the Library.
Family Rate (3 or more): $25 Pre-registration. $35 Race-day. T-shirts are $5 each. Submit family applications together.
Email Addresses: Registration confirmation and individual results will be emailed to all valid email addresses.
Directions: From I-275: Take exit 83 (Dixie Highway) and turn right off exit onto Dixie Highway. Proceed .8 mile and turn right on Kentonlands Rd. Proceed .7 mile; Library is on left 401 Kenton lands Rd. Plenty of Free Parking.
