Proceeds of the race provide academic scholarships to graduating Cross Country Runners from Butler, Freeport, Karns City, Knoch, Mars, Seneca Valley, Moniteau, and Slippery Rock High Schools.

2K Awards:
First 3 male and 3 female. Top 3 male and 3 female awards in following age groups:
Under 12, 12-15,16-19,20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70 & over.

5 Mile Awards:
First 5 males and 5 females. First Butler County male and female.
Top 3 male and 3 female in the following ages groups:
Under 12, 12-15,16-19,20-29,30-39. See special 40 and over masters completion awards.

5 Mile Masters Competition:
First 3 male and 3 female masters (>40) finishers.
First male and female senior finishers (age 50-59)
First male and female super senior (age 60 and up)
Top 3 male and 3 female if the following age groups:
40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 - over.
