**NEWLY ADDED this year is the 1-Mile Memorial Walk – Walk in memory of a loved one or in honor of a firefighter**
*8K and 1-Mile MEMORIAL walk participants will receive $2.00 off a Chicken or Fish Meal at our Annual Fish Fry being held that same day.*
TIME:
8K begins at 8:00 a.m; NEW **Memorial walk 8:05 a.m. and fun run approx. 9:15 a.m.
RACE LOCATION:
Begins and ends at Sherrard City Park, 3rd St. & 5th Ave. Splits given at 1, 2, 3, & 4 mile marks.
COURSE:
Relatively flat – starts and finishes at Sherrard City Park
PACKET PICKUP:
Race day at Sherrard City Park, corner of 3rd St. & 5th Ave.
AWARDS:
8 K Awards – Overall male and female winners, and 3 in age groups: 19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
1 Mile Kids’ Fun Run will receive awards, with awards to finishers in each age group: Boys and girls - 6/under, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12
REFRESHMENTS:
Food and drink for participants after the race, while they last
FACILITIES:
Showers are available at the Fire Station.
