Volunteer training will be conducted the day of the event. Further details regarding specifics for the morning of the event will be emailed to you at a later date, as well as a reminder the week prior to the event. All volunteers will receive a cotton event volunteer t-shirt the day of the event.

The event will be held the morning of April 12, 2014 at Frisco Square in Frisco, TX. We kick the morning off with a 1-Mile Family Fun Run at 8 a.m. followed by a Racing Systems timed 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m. There is plenty of entertainment with music and a CBS 11 Emcee with Awards, Prizes, Face Painting, Hula Hoop contest, and more! Funding has helped support DNA research at a leading children's hospital as well as a national research institute. This has increased our understanding of the causes of the birth defect Dandy-Walker Syndrome, improved diagnosis, and may lead to new therapeutic options, but much research remains.
