The 23rd Annual Shamrock Run & Walk is the official race of the St. Patrick's Day Parade and it is hosted by the Indy Sports Foundation. The St. Patrick's Day Celebration events are the Foundation's largest fundraiser of the year. The Foundation provides grant assistance to amateur sports organizations in Central Indiana.

Packet Pick-Up will take place on Friday, March 14 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Indiana Historical Society (450 West Ohio Street). If you are unable to pick up your packet on Friday, you may do so on race morning (March 15) from 8:00AM-9:30AM on Monument Circle. If you miss online registration you may register onsite at packet pick-up or on race day for $30.00.

4 mile run and walk. Start and finish located on Monument Circle. The race goes to the "Irish Hill" neighborhood in Fountain Square.

We are suggesting that you utilize the Circle Centre Mall parking garages (see map) for parking for the Shamrock Run & Walk. Due to changes in the city parking rates, parking at metered parking is no longer free on Saturdays. You will not be allowed to park on the race course.

Awards are for 4 mile competitive participants only.

The top three male and female finishers will be awarded with a trophy. The trophy is a replicate of the larger trophy that displays the overall 1st place male and female finisher each year. This trophy is displayed inside the Columbia Club.

Age group awards will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 and above.

Q. Are Strollers Allowed in the Shamrock Run & Walk?
A. Yes, strollers are allowed in both.

Q. If I am unable to pickup my race packet, can a friend or family member do so?
A. Yes.

Q. Are animals allowed?
A. Animals are prohibited from race course, finish, and starting line area unless a licensed assistance animal

A. Online registration will close on Wednesday, March 12 at 11:59PM

Q. Can I still register at packet pick up or on race day?
A. Yes, registration will increase to $30.00 each if you sign up at packet pick-up or on race day
