Morgan Creek Cross Country Race

Grass trails on open fields, creek crossings (shallow water likely), through the woods on dirt trails, and through the Arboretum, this is a great way to explore Morgan Creek! The race distances are approximate due to stream crossings and the varied terrain. This is not an obstacle race but there is uneven footing to include rocks in the creek beds and these will slow your pace.

The entrance is on Worcester Road, just off the northwest corner of Cedar Rapids. Worcester Road runs west from Stoney Point Road a short distance north from E. Ave. and Stoney Point Road. More information on the park at www.mycountyparks.com/County/Linn/Park/Morgan-Creek-Park.aspx

Funds left over from expenses will be donated to Morgan Creek Park with a request that they use them for unpaved trails maintenance or improvements. The Linn County Conservation Department has been very supportive.

No medals for the 3K Fun Run.

For the 10K, age groups are:
14-19, 20-29, 30-29, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Medals for 1st through 3rd and trophies for first overall male and first overall female in the 10K
