Awards given for top Overall Male and Female in the 5K and 10K, top Masters Male and Female in the 5K and 10K, and age group awards in 5-year increments. All Kids-run participants receive a finisher ribbon, but there are no overall or age group awards.

The Non-profit Coast Hills Running Club is dedicated to sponsoring and promoting local running events, activities, youth running and the general promotion of running. All proceeds go toward supporting youth running.

For your safety and others there will be no strollers, skates, bicycles or pets allowed on the course. There are no road closures for this event.

Traffic on course, runners must abide by all laws governing use of roads.

Race held in South Beach, south of Newport, OR. From Newport, cross Yaquina Bay Bridge, take first right after bridge, and follow signs to Marina & RV Park (not the boat launch). From south, before crossing Yaquina Bay Bridge into Newport, take right toward Aquarium and HMSC, and follow signs.

Scenic, paved course on jetty, along bay and nature trail, flat, fast and fun. No headphones, baby joggers, skates, bicycles, or pets allowed on the course.

One Aid Station for 10K.

9:00 AM start for 5K and 10K followed by Kids Run.
Day of race registration begins 8:00 AM at HMSC.
