To celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control Center, we've decided to host a Pet Photo Contest! So get your cameras ready, your pet gussied up and start snapping.

Winners will have their pet's photo displayed digitally on the decorative flags that adorn the Adoption Mall hallway of our new animal facility for at least one year.

Enter as many times as you like!

Contest is open to adults over the age of 18

Entries must be sent via email to Pet Photo Contest

Entry fee is $10/photo, or 3 for $25.

Photos must be of your pet only. Do not submit photos containing children or other persons.

By submitting photos to the contest, you verify that you are the photographer AND copyright holder for each photo submitted and have the legal authority to assign reprint rights to Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control for the purpose of this contest. You may not submit photos that you have paid another professional to take.

Judging is done by the Friends Helping Friends Foundation board of directors and will happen at the end of the month. Winners will be notified via email; they will be announced on the website on the first of the month or shortly thereafter. All decisions are final.

By submitting a photo, you agree to allow Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control to display your submitted photos on the website (http://www.lightscamerapaws.com) for the purpose of: a) displaying the submissions to and/or results of this contest, b) promoting this or future photo contests and c) inclusion as a banner header on our Facebook page.
By entering, you agree to receive an occasional email message as part of our new facility promotions.

* Clear .jpg photo of your cat, dog, or other pet
* Maximum size 640x480 pixels and 2 megabytes
* Photo must be submitted by uploading the photo to the following website: www.lightscamerapaws.com. Photos can be submitted on the Guestbook page.

Once your photo is submitted it is considered final and may not be modified or edited by you. You agree that you shall not submit any photo that contains (i) disparaging or obscene language, (ii) nudity, (iii) trademarks and/or logos not belonging to the Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control (CRACC) (unless you are permitted to do so in writing by the owners of such trademarks or logos), and/or (iv) language, photos or film that is injurious to another party and/or may damage another party's reputation. You further agree that you own all rights to the photo and are not violating the copyright of anyone else and that you have permission from any persons depicted in the image to use/submit their image. You acknowledge that CRACC expressly conditions its acceptance of your submission on your agreement of the preceding requirements, and if it is discovered that you have violated such agreement, CRACC reserves the right to disqualify your submission.

**Photos may contain more than one animal.
**Entry fees are non-refundable.
