Event Details

The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County is excited again to play host to the Park 2 Park Relay. This year's event will be different than the previous two years. We will be staging a 45+ mile running relay consisting of two (2) to twelve (12) team members with the typical team consisting of four (4) team members. The course will follow much of the same route as last year but will have some new twists and turns. You can still expect to run through some beautiful parks and also along some scenic county roads.

This years course will run past Hendricks Counties newest and soon to be developed - Gibbs Park. Also again this year we will have the Ultra competition. For those individuals that are looking for a challenge, we will see if you have what it takes to run the entire route by yourself.

We look forward to your participation in the third annual Park 2 Park Relay and we look forward to helping everyone promote a healthy life style. Most importantly, we look forward to raising money so that we can continue to grow our parks and the associated programs found within the parks.

Registration includes: race entry; chip timing; unique event shirt.

Packet Pick-Up

(NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION)

Mandatory Meeting Friday night June 14th.

Each team MUST send one representative and ALL signed waivers are due at the meeting.

Any team who is not represented or missing signed waiver for each team member at the meeting may be disqualified without a team entry fee refund. At the meeting, teams will receive final race information, bibs and SWAG bags. The Captains Meeting will occur at the Plainfield Recreation and Aquatic Center.

Please Note

**This is self supported event: no water stops provided. Teams must carry their own water, food, supplies, etc.**

Cut-Off Time

The cutoff time is 2:00 PM for safety of the runners. Each exchange will also have cutoff times, more information on exchange cutoff times at the captian's meeting on June 14th.

Divisions

Teams of two (2) to four (4) collectively running 45-miles.

The typical team will have four (4) runners with each runner responsible for running three legs for a total distance of approximately 9-12 miles.

All members must be at least 14 years old on race day to compete on a relay team.

Runners will be eligible for awards on the proposed divisions of 1-4 runners only. The new twist for 2013 is to add additional runners above four (4) up to 12 (twelve). NO TEAMS CAN HAVE MORE THAN 12 RUNNERS.

A team may register under one of the following race divisions with division winners only consisting of teams of four individuals (4) or less:

*Men:* All team members must be male
*Women:* All team members must be female
*Mixed:* Two men & two women
*Men's Masters:* All team members must be male and age 40+
*Women's Masters: * All team members must be female and age 40+
*Mixed Masters:* Two men & two women all age 40+

*Open:* Any mix of age & gender.
*Corporate*: Any age and gender composition, this division is for corporations.
*Ultra Marathon: * One runner! Must be over 18 to run as an Ultra Marathon Runner.
