The top three male and female finishers in the following age groups win awards: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

Electronic Tag Timing

Electronic tag timing will be used at this event. You must wear a tag to be timed and eligible for awards. Age group awards will be determined by tag time.

Event Details

Thousands of walkers and runners will put their soles into ending homelessness at the 5th Annual Help the Homeless Walk & 5K. This year's event will honor our homeless veterans. There are many veterans in the homeless population who access services at The Bridge, which supports full-time Veterans Medical Center offices on site. Approximately 20% of Dallas' homeless population are veterans.

The November 12th event will also feature activities that are fun for the entire family including food, music, interactive games and more. Proceeds from this year's Walk & 5K will be used to support The Bridge. At the assistance center, people experiencing homelessness can get help with healthcare, jobs and permanent housing from 14 co-located agencies.
