The festival area will take place on the American Legion Mall - south across the street from the Indianapolis Central Library. Please utilize metered parking around this area and north end of the canal.

About the Event |
Little Red Door Cancer Agency is pleased to present Unite 2 Fight: Get Moving 2 Beat Cancer; a unique event designed to motivate Hoosiers to reduce their risk of cancer through positive lifestyle choices while supporting the state's oldest and largest cancer service agency. One-third of cancers deaths are related to obesity and another one third of cancer deaths are related to tobacco use. Imagine a world where 66% fewer people die from cancer! The Little Red Door can imagine that world and we are actively involved in trying to make it a reality! Please join us in this fun free family event to beat cancer.

Event Highlights |
This event is free to participate and open to all ages. The family walk is non-competitive and covers the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and north-end of the Downtown Canal.
Food! Everyone loves to eat! Participants will be exposed to a variety of healthy foods from restaurants, producers, and retailers along with the most up to date information about what foods to eat to lower your risk of cancer and improve your overall health.
Movement! Ok, maybe everyone doesn't like to exercise as much as they like to eat! But, exercise and movement is critical to a healthy lifestyle and body weight, so at Unite 2 Fight: Get Moving 2 Beat Cancer we will have many fun things for people to do and get moving, from the family walk around the canal to yoga, zumba, dance seminars, and live demonstrations!
Smoking Cessation! Quitting is not easy! So our friends in the public health community will be on hand to lend a hand!
Cancer Information and Screening! It is very important to understand your risk for cancer and get regular screenings. Representatives from the medical community will be on hand to answer questions and provide appropriate free screenings. Unite 2 Fight will also feature non-traditional retailers who offer products that contain non-cancer causing agents (For example, did you know that some mattresses contain carcinogens? Come learn more about this topic and others July 9!).
