Kick off the fall, and the end of the Fremont Oktoberfest celebration with the 7th annual Brew HA-HA 5K Run and Walk presented by Pyramid Breweries, September 26, 2010 at 10:00am at the Solstice Plaza (near the intersection of N 34th St and Fremont Ave N). Run for the glory, stay for the beer!

Day of Brew HA-HA 5K Schedule:

8:00 AM: Day of Race Registration and Pre-registration number and t-shirt pick-up.
9:45 AM: Day-of race registration ends.
10:00 AM: 5K Race begins.
10:30 AM: Awards Ceremony and MOViN 92.5 Rehab Party at the Village Stage.

Be a part of the 2010 Brew HA-HA official 5K run and walk. The starting line is located at N. 34th street. and Fremont Ave N. at the Adobe Solstice Plaza. The course goes east along N. 34th St continuing along N. Pacific St. At Latona Ave NE the course turns west onto the Burke Gilman Trail and continues under the Fremont Bridge ending just past Phinney Ave N.

Finish Line activities are just a few steps away at the Village Stage at Phinney Ave N. and N. 35th St.

Don't let that Beer Belly stop you from running! Join the elite Beer Belly Division, where you will be treated like Oktoberfest royalty.

If you are asking yourself, "How do I become a member of this highly acclaimed group of runners?" the answer is jump on a scale and see if you are qualified for this prestigious position. Those men who are 220 lbs. plus and women who are 180 lbs. and over are eligible to enter this division.

Besides earning the respect and admiration of fellow racers who recognize your achievements, you will be honored with an unfair advantage of starting first, and thus ensuring your possibility of getting to the beer garden finish line before the pack!

Life is what you pour into it. And what better way to pour on some Sunday Oktoberfest spirit than with two beer gardens to await your arrival at the finish line.

Runners are welcome to go into the Pyramid Breweries Village Beer Garden after the run. This beer garden is free to enter and opens at 10:00am.

Runners who wish to sample 70+ microbrews may buy admission into the Microbrew Garden at a discounted advance price. The Microbrew Garden opens at 11:00am. Runners who buy a ticket in advance will find them in their race packets on Sunday morning along with their bib and timing chip.

Both the Pyramid Breweries Beer Garden and the Microbrew Garden are only open to guests 21 and over.

• Sunday is Dogtoberfest at Fremont Oktoberfest.
  
• Your dog is welcome to run with you, and even go in the beer garden afterward.
  
• Must be well mannered and on a leash.
