Join 200 - 300 other adventurous Tulsa area residents in the most fun you can with your clothes on. TAT (Tulsa Area Triathletes) and TATUR (Tulsa Area Trail & Ultra Runners) proudly present the Fourth Annual Polar Bear Plunge. 2010 promises more crazy bikini clad, cross dressing participants.

Each year the course changes, this year it will be a one mile walk/run with a couple of water obstacles mixed in including a full body plunge in the frigid Arkansas River. The press will be there to photograph and film all the crazy participants. Many of the men steal their girlfirends bathing suits and some even come dressed as Baby New Year.

Awards are usually given out for Hairiest, Whiniest, Youngest, Fastest Polar Bear.

The fee for this event is $5.

Even if you are too SANE to participate, at least come down and cheer or even laugh at all the crazy's who brave the frigid waters. Bring the kids, dogs, and friends and come enjoy the fun.
