The Start: Reasoner Dam on Lake Nokomis in Humboldt. The dam is located one block west of Highway 169. Turn west using either 5th Avenue North or 6th Avenue North.

Race Finish: The Rutland Dam, in Rutland, Iowa. A shuttle will be provided from Rosemill Park in Rutland back to the start in Humboldt. The shuttle will leave after the completion of the awards ceremony and the drawings for door prizes at approximately 9:45.

The Race: This course is an 8K course with about .75 miles on city streets (asphalt) and the remainder on scenic Three Rivers Trail, consisting of crushed limestone on a railroad right of way.

Medals will be awarded to the top male and female finishers and also the top three finishers in each of the following divisions for both male and female:
14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 and above. Gift cards for local businesses will also be given to everyone.

The Hotel is located across highway 169 from the start of the race.

Entry baggie will include t-shirt and various coupons/gift cards from local businesses.

Late entries cannot be guaranteed a T-Shirt on race day.

Proceeds are used to support running and fitness activities as well as trail projects in the Humboldt area.
