The Pensacola Police Department and the American Cancer Society are co-partners in the first
annual Pensacola’s Finest Relay 5K. This is a unique 5K run and walk like no other in
Pensacola with individual and team competition to raise money for the Relay for Life. Everyone
will run or walk a 5K and can compete for individual awards, however, there is also team
competition. Each person on the three member team will run the 5K and their accumulated time
will be added together in order to determine team awards. You don’t have to run as a team
member, but this is a great event for organizations and businesses.

The race will start and finish at City Hall and run through downtown and along the waterfront of
Maritime Park.

Team categories will be First Responders, Military, Business, Schools and Friends with team
awards given to the top 3 teams in each category.

All relay team members will receive a team finisher’s medal.

Awards will be presented to overall top male and female winners, the top 3 men and women in
each age group along with the top 3 men and women in the walking division. All participants will
receive a T-Shirt.

This event is walker and stroller friendly.

Race Day
Start time: 7:00 AM, Saturday February 24, 2018 at Pensacola City Hall, 222 West Main Street.
The course will close at 9:30 AM, requiring a minimum 16 minute/mile pace for team members.

Packet Pick up Schedule
Friday, February 23, 2018- 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Pensacola Police Department (711 N. Hayne Street)
Race Day Packet Pickup: City Hall parking lot from 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Late Registration and Paper Registration
Participants will be able to register at both packet pickups (Friday and Saturday morning). Participants may also register by paper at the American Cancer Society office at 5401 Corporate Woods Dr # 100, Pensacola, FL 32504
