CSU Pueblo's School of Nursing, accompanied by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), is hosting a 5k to raise awareness of suicide and suicide prevention in the Pueblo community.

Due to the high rate of teen and youth suicide in the local Pueblo community, the School of Nursing at CSU-Pueblo would like to hold an event with the aim of spreading awareness of the issue, and raiseing money that can be used to implement ideas with the goal of lessening this tragic occurrence in the community.

From Hwy 47, take Bonforte Blvd exit and turn left onto Bonforte Blvd, then the first right onto Bartley Blvd. Follow this around the bend, then make a right onto Rawlings blvd. Parking for the race will be on the left hand side.

Parking can be found off of Rawlings Blvd by the Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl Stadium. On map, it is parking lot E-10.

A challenging, slow to medium paced course through the beautiful CSU Pueblo campus. The course itself is hilly, mostly paved, and mostly unshaded. There will be water stations periodically through out the course.

8AM for runners, 8:05 for walkers

Race Day Registration Fee:
$35

No physical award, just time ranking

Must register by 6/14 for guaranteed shirt of desired size. All registrations afterwards are on a first come first serve basis for shirt and size requests.
