The Zoetis Dog Jog is a 1 mile and 5K walking and jogging event for your dog and family. Register your dog with one or more humans (we encourage family participation) and have a blast! The swag is all for your dog, but we'll throw in a T-shirt for you too if registered by September 30th.

Part of every registration is going directly to Domesti-PUPS, a local 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Lincoln, Nebraska. They provide therapy dogs, service dogs for persons with disabilities, and trained rescue dogs through their adoptables program. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for persons with special needs through the assistance of animals, and to promote awareness through education. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. We please ask that strollers and walkers line up at the back of the pack to avoid entangling runners & dogs and to allow for a smoother start.
Leashes of less than 6' are required at all times while at the event. Dogs must be licensed and vaccinations must be current.

Race day registrations will be accepted, and a $10 late fee will be charged. T-shirts are not guaranteed to race day registrants. Race day registrations are payable by check only.

I have two dogs, can I run with both dogs and sign up as 1 Dog with 1 Human, or 1 dog with 2+ Humans?
No, we require 1 human for every dog. If you would like more than one of your dogs to run, please have the person who will be running with the second dog register individually.

There are 3 of us, and just one dog, can I sign us all up?
Absolutely. Just choose the 1 Dog & Family (2+ humans) option.

Do we all have to run together with our dog?
We prefer that you do, but we won't enforce it. Please run no more than 2 across.

What vaccinations are required?
Vet form/proof of vaccination must be printed, filled out, and presented at Event registration/check in for every dog attending. Bordetella vaccine is optional.

What if I want to run and don't have a dog?
You do NOT have to bring a dog to participate, everyone is welcome. But you might want to donate all that dog swag.

Will the event be cancelled due to bad weather?
Rain or shine, we will be there. If there is lightning the race will either be cancelled or postponed up to 1 hour.

Where/when do I pick up my packet?
You can pick up your packet on the day of the race starting at 12pm.

Can I mail in my registration?
No. We are only accepting online registration, with the exception of day of race day registration, which will run $10 more per entry.

Can I register day of?
Yes. We take checks only, written to Zoetis Wellness. The fee will be an additional $10 day of the race with no guarantee for dog swag or shirts. Please be sure to download the vet form and have it filled out prior to attending the race. You will not be allowed to race without this.

Where can we park?
Plenty of parking will be available. There are a few parking lots at the park. If we run out of space we can park in the grass.

Will there be waste cans for the dogs?
Yes, all owners are responsible for picking up after their dog. Human facilities are also available.
