The Marathon course covers approximately four miles of city streets and sidewalks, 15 miles of improved trails (including the Glacial Drumlin Trail), and 7 miles of the Ice Age Trail. Miles 11 through 15 are extremely rugged. Except for the Ice Age Trail, the trail is subject to only gentle grades. Marathon turn-around is the top of the 40' Lapham Peak tower, the highest point in Waukesha county, with spectacular views of the surrounding lake country. The Marathon has a 6 hour cut-off. Net climb on the way out is 438 feet; the net drop on the way back is 438 feet. Aid stations will be located at miles 3, 5, 7, 11 and 13 with a bag drop at the fourth aid station (behind Saxe's Restaurant). An annual or daily Wisconsin State Park sticker is needed to park at the Lapham Peak Tower.
Half Marathon
(Race starts at 9:00 a.m.; Cost: $40 through September 30th, $50 on October 1st through March 13th, or $60 on March 14th through March 29th). After March 29th, walk-in registration is available on-site day of event for $60.
The Half Marathon course follows the initial leg of the Marathon course but has an earlier turn around at mile 7 (aid station 3). It does not include the Ice Age Trail or the Lapham Peak tower.

(Race starts at 9:30 a.m.; Cost: $35 through September 30th, $40 October 1st through March 13th, or $50 on March 14th through March 29th). After March 29th, walk-in registration is available on-site day of event for $50.
**NEW for 2017 and the Silver Anniversary of the Trailbreaker! The 10K course follows the initial leg of the Half Marathon course but has an earlier turn around at mile 3.6 (aid station 1). This event is not yet a USATF certified event. All other events are certified.

The 5K course is run entirely in beautiful Frame Park. The route utilizes the paved pathways immediately adjacent to the Fox River. It is a family-friendly event where all ages can participate.
