Are you looking for a change from your normal mid-week running routes, something to motivate you rather than the same ol' same ol'?

Welcome to the Cross Country Clash, Denver's midweek evening race series. Our races use courses that Denver area high schools stage their cross-country meets on to offer you a different race experience. These interesting and varied courses will keep you on your toes and make your mid-week runs a lot more fun.

The races are scheduled for 6:30 PM two Wednesday evenings each month from May through August, giving you ample opportunities to get out and toe the line. These no-frills events are designed to be affordable, low key, and fun. You'll get a well designed course, an organized and timed race, and an opportunity to test your mettle against your fellow runners.

BE PART OF THE FUN COMPETITION
Runners can race individually, and be part of a team. In addition to overall results, we'll be scoring teams each race just like a cross country meet. You'll have the option to form a men's or women's team and compete. Maybe you remember how much fun your high school or college cross country days were, or you wish you had participated on a cross country team. Now you can experience that camaraderie all summer long!

The top three men and women overall, and the top men's and women's teams will receive awards. There will also an overall race series competition with awards to the top three men and women who have accumulated the most points.

POST RACE FESTIVITIES & AWARDS CEREMONY
But it isn't just be about the running. It's also about getting out and spending a beautiful summer evening with your friends and other runners. We'll have a beer garden of Colorado craft beer where, after each race, registered runners can enjoy a free beer. We want you to hang out after the race and enjoy the local running community! Be sure to bring your folding chair and stay a while.

Timberline Events also stages the Roads Less Traveled Relay series (http://www.rltrelays.com) which includes the Wild West Relay and Flaming Foliage Relay.
