Benefitting:

The Ride the Heart of the Valley is a fundraiser, and all of the profits are donated, half to a veterinary charity and half to a human medical charity. This year we are proud to announce that we will be donating all the funds raised to the Olive K. Britt Endowment for Emergency Services at the Lois Bates Acheson Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine and to the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis Johnson Dental Clinic.

The Lois Bates Acheson Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine provides superb care to both large and small animals. The Olive K. Britt Endowment for Emergency Services is a fund that is used to help low income pet owners afford emergency services for their pet at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

The Johnson Dental Clinic at the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis was started by Dr. Ken Johnson and his wife Dot Johnson in 2008 as a way to provide children from low-income families with dental care. Since their opening, the clinic has seen 2,200 children and is now covered under the Oregon Health Plan expansion of 2010.
