Race Day Events: Seaside Dash to Safety (5K Run/Walk), Doggy Dash (1.25 Miles) and Safety Fair (non running event)

When: Saturday, April 30, 2016. Both races start at 9:30 a.m. Safety fair runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Entry Fee: $20 (t-shirt included for both races), $10 for high school students (t-shirt not included); Safety Fair is free for all ages.

Packet Pickup: Registration packets may be picked up on April 29 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sunset Pool (1140 Broadway, Seaside) or on Race Day, beginning at 8 am at Seaside Heights Elementary School (2000 Spruce Drive, Seaside).

Parking and Shuttle Information: Racers will not be allowed to park at the starting location for either race. Please park at Seaside Heights Elementary School and shuttles will transport you to respective start locations. Shuttles will operate from 8 - 9 a.m. The last shuttle will depart Seaside Heights at 9 a.m.

If you are participating in the Doggy Dash, you can have more than one dog, but ALL animals must be leashed.

The 5K will start at the Seaside Cove, take runners along Beach Drive and up the Seaside Promenade to the Turnaround. From here, runners will head east along Broadway until they reach Wahanna Road. The final stretch will travel south along Wahanna to Spruce Drive and finally finish at Seaside Heights Elementary School.

The Doggy Dash will begin at Broadway Field and follow the same final legs as the 5K route.
