The 2015 Honor Run Half Marathon will once again be the premier running event in Northern Kentucky! Come celebrate Veteran's Day weekend by honoring those that have served us! We are capping the field this year to 2,500 in the half and 50 teams in the relay. We sold out last year so don't wait and get left out. All proceeds from The Honor Run Half Marathon go to Honor Flight Tri-State to help send our veterans that served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam to Washington DC to see their memorials. All race participants will receive the following: Honor Run Half Marathon Race T-Shirt, Custom Finisher's Medal, entrance to the post race party, and a virtual goody bag with discount coupons to area restaurants and businesses. So you want to run the Honor Run Half Marathon but don't feel quite up to 13.1 miles. No issue at all. How about running as a 2 person relay team? The first leg of the relay will be roughly 7 miles. The second leg will be roughly 6 miles. Both participants on the team will receive all the race premiums including an Inaugural Honor Run Half Marathon Medal and race t-shirt. It's time to get our kids involved in honoring those who have served us! New this year we are introducing the Inaugural Honor Run Kids One Mile. This run is for kids 12 and younger. The kids will run one mile on the Florence Mall ring road starting and finishing underneath the Florence Y'All water tower just like the Honor Run Half and Honor Run 2 Person Relay! All participants will receive an Honor Run t-shirt along with a custom finishers medal.
