The Pleasant Run Run will take place in the Irvington neighborhood of Indianapolis, IN, and begins outside of the Irvington Public Library (5625 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46219).

This run is part of the Historic Irvington Halloween Festival. For 69 years, the Historic Irvington Halloween Festival has brought together thousands of residents, dozens of neighborhood organizations, and countless Eastside businesses in a fun-filled celebration. The festival and its associated events are designed to bring awareness to the community, to bring commerce to local business and sponsors, and to provide fun for the children of Irvington and Indianapolis. The celebration encompasses a week of events including a scholarship pageant, musicians, contests, Halloween-themed movies, storytelling, ghost tours, live theater, masquerade ball, a haunted puppet show and dozens of other events. Halloween is the best time to be in Irvington!

The Irvington Halloween Festival is organized by the Historic Irvington Community Council, a 501(c)3 organization that provides a voice to the city on Irvington issues such as public services, zoning and works to improve the community and the lives of its residents.

Pleasant Run Run -This 5 mile race that takes you through the beautiful tree-lined avenues of Historic Irvington. This time-honored traditional course is filled with lots of spectators, cow bells and fun. The course is fast and primarily flat.There will many age group prizes! After the race, enjoy the Wondrous Irvington Halloween Festival (complete with a beer garden). There is so much to do! All proceeds go to the benefit of Historic Irvington.

Parking can be found throughout the Irvington neighborhood. Please note that this event occurs during the Historic Irvington Halloween Festival and there are street closures.
