Join us for the 6th Annual Pufferbelly 5K Family Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kids' Fun Run. A portion of our race will be run on the Salomon Farm Trail and the Pufferbelly Trail from the Parkview YMCA to Wallen Road.

The proceeds from this event will be used to further our work in converting the former New York Railroad into a paved recreational path that, when completed, will link downtown Fort Wayne to Pokagon State Park in Angola.

The race will start and finish at the Parkview YMCA located on the south side of Dupont Road between Coldwater Road and Lima Road. Follow the signs for directions on where to park.

• Timing chips will be used to ensure accurate times for all
  
runners. There is a replacement fee for unreturned chips.

• Great door prizes including 2 bicycles from summit City Bicycles and Fitness. Awards for the the top female and male runners in each group and the overallfemale and male runners will be given out at the completion of the 5K Run/Walk.
  
• All participants in the Kids' Fun Run will receive a participation ribbon. The top female and male Fun Runner will receive an award.
  
• Enjoy live music, refreshments, kids games and Sweetcakes the Clown.
  
• All participants will be given free access to the Parkview YMCA (including the pool and the splash pad) all day on race day.
  
[*]Dogs, in-line skates, skateboards, and electronic devices are not allowed on the running course. Strollers are allowed for the 5k participants.

Requires a minimum of 5 participants. Must include your team name on the registration form. Includes VIP packet pick-up line, an extra goodies in the bags (if registered by July 18th) and a group Photo opportunity. The team with the most participants will receive a plaque.

You may also register Friday night (on August 7th) from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Parkview YMCA.

T-shirts will be given to all 5K and Fun Run participants who preregister by July 18th. Limited quantities will be available to others on race day. Performance shirts in adult sizes only are available (in lieu of a t-shirt) for an additional $10.
