Pledges:
Go the extra mile to support the Shining Star CAC by collecting pledges! Ask family, friends, neighbors and colleagues to pledge their support in the fight against child abuse.

Costume Contest:
This is a Superhero Walk and we encourage all of our participants to dress up as your favorite superhero! Be sure to show your creativity, as prizes will be awarded for the best costumes in the following categories: Team/Group Costume, Family, Individual Adult, Child (10 and older), Child (5-9), Child (4 and under).

Note:
In case of rain or thunderstorms, the event will be cancelled and pledges and fees will serve as a donation to the SSCAC.

Join the Shining Star Children's Advocacy Center at our 7th annual Champions for Children Walk! Participation in this walk makes it possible for the Shining Star CAC to continue its valuable work of reducing the trauma of child sexual and serious physical abuse.

Each year, more than 200 children and families visit Shining Star CAC for a variety of reasons relating to allegations of child sexual abuse or severe physical abuse. Whether they are coming in for a forensic interview, returning for counseling, attending a support group, or seeking the help of our Family Advocate, Shining Star CAC clients are treated with compassion and respect.
