The Hog and Jog 5K is bringing home the bacon for the homeless. This 5K Fun Run is all about that bacon. There will be bacon at the start of the race. There will be bacon at the aid stations (We are calling them "bacon shots." It will be the super soft, super yummy, actual bacon, bacon bits) . There will be bacon at the finish line. This race will be untimed and is designed to be fun for all ages, as we celebrate the awesomeness of bacon. We will have music on the course and Hog and Jog Selfie Stations.

Not only are you getting to eat bacon on this race....you also get a pink piggy t-shirt, a piggy snout (piggy snout for the first 250 registered participants), free pictures posted to Facebook that you can tag or post from Santiago Photography, and an AMAZING Hog and Jog 5K Finisher medal.

This race is not timed, but we will be providing prizes for the first 3 Male and Female Finishers. Prizes included are from: St. George Running Center, Emerald City Smoothie, Dixie Meats, Megaplex Theaters, and more.

If you would like to have breakfast before or after the race, then we have a special treat for you. Waffle Love will be on site selling their delicious waffles filled with awesomeness and love. So, don't forget to bring some cash with you. Yep, we want you to be happy.

How are we bringing home the bacon for the homeless? A good chunk of your entry fee (half of the net proceeds) is going to be donated to SwitchPoint Community Resource Center in St. George, UT. They are the local homeless shelter and so much more. They are serving our community with amazing services and programs to benefit those who are struggling. Packet pick up will take place on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. It will take place at Summit Athletic Club. The address is 1532 East 1450 South St.George, UT 84790

Do I have to eat bacon to participate?
No, you do not. No one is forced to eat bacon, but we do have to wonder why you wouldn't eat bacon.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There are no age limits. No matter how young or old you are...you are welcome to come have fun with us.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Plenty of parking for everyone at the Ridge Top Complex.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
We ask that you do not bring your pets. Dogs and a table full of bacon, don't really mix. You are encouraged to dress up and have fun celebrating bacon.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
No, it is not.

Do I have to bring my printed registration to the event?
You do not have to bring it to the actual race, but you need to bring it to packet pick up on Friday, March 27th, 2015.

What is the refund policy?
There are NO refunds.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Names must match. A waiver must be signed for each participant.

Will there be photos?
Yes. We will have Santiago Photography on the course and at the Finish line. They will post all pictures to the "Hog and Jog 5K" Facebook page and you can "tag" yourself and your friends. There will also be "Selfie Stations" along the run where you can take photos.

Will the race be cancelled for weather?
No. The Hog and Jog 5K will go on, rain or shine.
