Red Gold, Americas largest privately-owned premium tomato company, is hosting the 3rd Annual Red Gold Run to Crush Hunger 5K. It will be held at Callaway Park in Elwood on Saturday, October, 11th at 9:00 a.m.

Red Gold is passionate about helping local communities and feels that with your support we will be able to affect many lives. All proceeds from the race will go to Second Harvest Food Bank and the Morrisett Center Food Pantry to help with the fight against hunger in central Indiana.

The event will consist of a 5K run/walk and also a 1-mile family walk. All participants will receive a custom t-shirt, goodie bag, post-race refreshments, and a free coupon for chili at the Red Gold Chili Cook-off. After finishing this event, we hope that you'll attend the rest of the fun filled family weekend at the 29th annual Red Gold Chili Cook-Off and Colt's Blue Saturday in downtown Elwood!

* Competitive/ Non-Competitive: $25.00 (these participants will receive a goodie bag & dri-fit t-shirt).

* Group Rate (4 or more participants): $20.00 per member (these participants will each receive a goodie bag & dri-fit t-shirt).

• Day of Event-Late Registration: $30.00 (will not accept group rate)(these participants will receive a goodie bag & dri-fit t-shirt while supplies last).

* 1 Mile Course: $15.00 per person (these participants will receive a goodie bag & dri-fit t-shirt), age 8 and under are free (these participants will only receive goodie bag).

• Day of Event-Late Registration: $18.00 per person (these participants will receive a goodie bag & dri-fit t-shirt while supplies last), age 8 and under are free (these participants will only receive a goodie bag while supplies last).

* Additional t-shirts: $10.00 each (indicate quantity and size on the registration form).

The 5K and 1 mile courses will start and finish at Callaway Park in Elwood, IN. The course will go through the downtown area next to the Red Gold Chili Cook-Off before heading back to the park. Expect a mostly flat course with a water station located mid-way.

Early Packet Pick-up: You may pick up your materials (shirt, bib, information packet) the day before the event on Friday, October 10th at the Elwood YMCA from 11:00AM-1:00PM or 5:00PM-7:00PM.

Event Packet Pick-up: Saturday, October 11th at Callaway Park from 7:30 am to 8:45 am. You also have the option to sign-up for late registration at this time (See Cost/Rates for more information)

* 1st place overall Male and Female winners will each receive a Red Gold Crush Hunger trophy, $100.00 cash prize, $75.00 Gift Certificate, and Red Gold Gift Box

* 2nd place overall Male and Female winners each receive $50.00 gift certificate and Red Gold Gift Box

* 3rd place overall Male and Female winners each receive $25.00 gift certificate and Red Gold Gift Box

* Each participant will receive a finisher's medal.
