Run, Jog, Walk, Laugh and get moving during Columbus Days. The Columbus Family YMCA is hosting a 5k race for all runners, walkers, and those wanting to enjoy time with friends and family.

There will be optional informational stops as well as a drink station.

Refreshments to follow the race.

Columbus Days theme is The Olympics.

Come dressed in your Team USA gear (Red, White and Blue)

Day: August 20
Start Time: 7:00 PM

Need 50 participants to hold race.

Awards begin at 7:30 PM at the end of the Race.

All race participants will receive a finishers medal. Awards will be given to overall Guy and Gal finisher.
Times will be posted for all other places.

We will have special prizes awarded for both Guys and Gals Best Team USA Costume for ages 0-16 and 17 and older, Biggest Family Participation, Biggest Business Participation, Fastest Columbus Woman and Man, and 2nd Annual Caboose Award will be given.

Door Prizes will be given away and all participants are eligible to win.

Prizes will include but are not limited to Y-Bucks, YMCA logo Items, Y Membership, Jackson's Nebraska Logo
mats, Polar HR Watch.

Friday, August 19th at the YMCA
from 12:00 - 8:00 PM

and at the Start line of race
from 5-6 PM Saturday, August 20th.

Parking is available along the Railroad tracks in Downtown Columbus.

Timing services provided by Precision Race Results, Omaha NE.

All proceeds will go to support the YMCA Strong Kids.
