PAWS in the Park is a Fun Run/Walk to benefit the homeless animals of Cedar Rapids.

Location: Noelridge Park, Cedar Rapids IA
Parking in swimming pool lot

Time: Registration opens at 8 am
Team Run-9:00 am
Walk-9:05am

• All pets entered must have proof of rabies inoculation. (copy of certificate)
  
• All dogs must be wearing a rabies tag.
  
• Parvo vaccination recommended.
  
• All participants must sign the injury/illness waiver.
  
• All dogs must be kept on leashes at all times.
  
• All dogs must compete on a leash no longer than 6 feet-no flex leads permitted.
  
• It is recommended that puppies under 6 months do not participate.
  
• Female dogs in any stage of heat or pregnancy will NOT be allowed to participate.
  
• Individuals running/walking with more than one dog must enter additional dogs separately.
  
[*]At the discretion of Animal Control, unsafe or unruly pets or owners may be requested to leave the event.

Water will be provided on the course and at the finish area for both pets and owners. A First Aid station will be on-site in case of an emergency.

• Teams must have a Team Name and an assigned Team Captain.
  
• Captains must register first to create the team. Deadline to form a team is 9/6/16.
  
• Teams must consist of 5 or more participants.
  
• Team members register individually once the team is created.
  
• Teams can consist of any combo of dogs, adults, kids, runners or walkers (all must complete four circuits around the park)
  
• All dogs must be registered with submitted rabies certificate.

Teams will be awarded 1st, and 2nd prizes in each of the following categories:
