TTTS Race for Hope - Denver - Brian and Lisa Kothe
Sunday, November 11, 2007 in Denver, CO at Washington Park, 1700 E. Louisiana Ave
On Nov 11, 2007 we are running our 3rd TTTS race in honor of our daughter Angela (our Angel). As most of you know, we lost Angela at 19 weeks into our quad pregnancy because of Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). We very easily could have lost all 3 of our precious babies, but after Angela passed, Carlie and Julia got better. She sacrificed her life so her sisters could live. TTTS is a disease of the placenta. The blood vessels in the placenta sometimes do not set up equally when multiple babies share that one placenta, and one baby can get too much blood and another not enough. The sad thing is the babies themselves are perfect, yet many end up dying. We are raising money to help the Fetal Hope Foundation continue their research and education so more innocent perfect babies can live through this disease!
This page is no longer working for pledges, please go to the following new page to make a contribution, or if you prefer, you can mail us a check made out to the Fetal Hope Foundation. Thanks!
