7:30 am - Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k Start
8:00 am - 1 mile Fun Run/Walk Start
1:30 pm - Finish Line Closes
8:30 am - 1:30 pm - Food and awards

The average temperatures for mid April range from 41 to 62. The weather is unpredictable so come prepared. There will be no refunds, exchanges or deferrals of race entry.

Course:
Whether you're a lifelong local or an out -of-towner, we hope to see you on April 7, 2018 at Texas Oncology. Amarillo Marathon reserves the right to change the course as needed prior to race date. In accordance with the guidelines issued by USA Track & Field and Wheelchair Sports USA, only runners, walkers and wheelchair participants will be allowed on the course.

Amenities:
There will be water stations approximately every two miles and some will also include music. Additionally, water stations will have Gel Hammer and a wide variety of food and snacks. Post—race amenities include: entertainment, free massages and food.

Awards:
Cash prize to first Male and Female for full, half marathon and 5K. Finisher shirts for marathon finishers. Medals for full & half marathon finishers including 1st place Age Division: 13-19, 20-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66+

All proceeds for this special event benefit Panhandle Cancer Cure Foundation (PCCF). PCCF assists patients who have cancer or blood diseases. PCCF's primary goal is to provide patients with monetary support for rent/mortgage payments, utilities, fuel expenses and hotel stays (if traveling for treatment), and medical insurance premiums.
