Waiver and Release

I know that by participating in a run/walk is a potentially hazardous activity and will require running / walking on a city street. I should not participate unless I am medically able. I understand the nature of, and assume all risks associated with my voluntary participation in this event. Knowing these facts, I for myself, heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue and waive, release, and discharge the creators of this event and/or the Prairie Pastures Soaring Eagle Dog Park and all sponsors affiliated with the event,
for any and all claims or liability, whether seen or unforeseen, for any injury or accident suffered by me in connection with the event. I further grant full permission to the creators of this event and Prairie Pastures Soaring Eagle Dog Park and / or agents authorized by them to use any photographs, video tapes, or other record of the event for any reasonable purpose.

I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing. I acknowledge that this event has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 is a known risk and may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, event staff, volunteers, and other participants. I hereby release and agree to hold Event coordinators and Prairie Pastures Dog Park harmless and waive any and all causes of action for injury, damage or loss to myself that may be caused by any act, or failure to act, in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of Coronavirus/COVID-19. If we have to cancel the race, there will no refunds.
