The Omaha Running Club (ORC) is thrilled to announce the return of the Omaha Marathon! Join us on Sunday, September 28, 2025, for the marathon, half marathon, or 5K. The Omaha Marathon will replace the Heartland Marathon, which ORC successfully hosted for the past decade. This transition allows us to focus on uniting runners and bringing this beloved namesake event back to its roots. You can expect everything you loved about the Heartland Marathon, plus some extra touches to make it even more memorable, including a new and enhanced course to highlight the City of Omaha.

Refund policy: No refunds or transfers to other runners.

Course maps detailing a new and enhanced course to highlight the City of Omaha will be posted after approval by the City of Omaha and the other juristictions we intend to have the course pass through.
